Dakota 600? Vehicle Probe Alert Kit-Product Review

This vehicle probe Driveway Alarm Alert kit detects vehicles only so deer and other large animals do not trigger the alert and transmits a signal to a receiver up to 600 feet away. The probe is parallel to the driveway and can detect vehicles passing within approximately 10 to 12 feet. The direct burial cable can be run to a tree or post nearby where the transmitter box is located.

The transmitter has 50 feet of direct burial wire, which connects the probe to the exterior case of the transmitter. The transmitter box can be covertly hidden in a realistic looking Birhouse/Birdfeeder that can attach to a tree or post to disguise it.

Because the probe is buried underground it is less noticeable than other wireless systems. When a vehicle is detected it sends a signal to the receiver triggering the alert in the home. Up to four zones can be accommodated. The receiver can play one of four different tunes that are selected at the transmitter. So the two different zones can be distinguished.
