Counter-Surveillance: Bug Detectors-Three Of The Best And Cheapest Ones

All listening devices and hidden cameras send out what are called radio frequencies or RF signals. That is how bug detectors find them by locating the RF signals sent out.

Hidden cameras and listening devices are not only used for corporate espionage, but homeowners find them helpful too. Corporate security personnel and private investigators are the main users of counter-surveillance tools such as bug detectors.

If you have the feeling that somebody is watching you or listening to you no matter what your situation, you need an inexpensive and easy way to find out for sure. These three products provide that way. There are many bug detectors on the market today, but these are three of the best and cheapest ones.

The first one is the RF camera bug detector. It is comparable to an RF detector costing four times as much. It detects all kinds of wireless devices such as cameras, audio bugs, Wi-Fi signals, cell phones and much more. It is so small it fits in the palm of your hand at 4 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches wide. It uses two “AAA” batteries and has a protective metal case for safekeeping. It will detect a wide range of transmitting frequencies from 1 MHz to 6 GHz. Turn it on and choose between an audio or vibration mode and a light that illuminates when any wireless frequency is detected. It sells for $36.95.

Then there is the mini hidden camera detector. It also detects signals in the range of 1 MHz to 6 GHz. It’s about the size of the average thumb drive. Turn the power switch on and listen for the sound of the device to beep. This lets you know that a signal has been detected. The closer it gets to the source of the signal the faster the device beeps. It sells for $39.95.

Next is the Pro camera Rechargeable Camera Detector. It sells for $49.95, making it the most expensive of the three. It detects hidden video cameras whether they are in use or not. They will find wired or wireless cameras. It can detect VHF, UHF, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GSM bugs. It uses a lithium-ion battery that’s rechargeable. It features multiple alerts such as a silent LED, a covert vibrate and loud alarm.

These bug detectors are three of the least expensive in the marketplace today. They provide a cheap way to determine if someone is watching or listening to you in just about any situation.

It is no wonder that for counter-surveillance, Corporate security personnel and private investigators choose these tools to find hidden cameras and listening devices.
