Bears On The Loose-Early Hibernation?

There have been a lot of bears seen in the last two weeks in neighborhood areas-much earlier than usual. That is leading people to believe that it may be a very early winter because bears are foraging for food for an early hibernation. There other signs that lead people to believe that may be the case too such as leaves starting to turn in the third week in August a good month earlier than normal.

Some are speculating that the extreme drought in the Western United States has caused bears to be more active than searching for food because their normal habitat has been burned out due to the Western wildfires and the extremely dry conditions.
