David Artman |

There are any number of reasons why disguised products exist. For self-defense items, it is to level the playing field by giving the potential victim the element of surprise. For hidden cameras it enables you to catch people doing things they shouldn’t be doing when you cannot be there to do it yourself.

Old Willy Shakespeare in the play “Hamlet” said it best in the opening phrase of the soliloquy

“To be, or not to be…”

Which is it? Here we will take a look at some of our most popular disguised products.

First on our list are these clock Wi-Fi spy camera as shown here on left that is just one of over 300 hidden cameras that we carry.

The most popular way to disguise a stun gun is with a cell phone. Cell phones are so yesterday. You can find a variety of stun guns here..

Since pepper sprays are the most popular self-defense product in the world and are legal in all U.S. states, it makes sense that some of them would be disguised. The most common disguise is the lipstick pepper spray but others are disguised as a pen or as a small baton.  It is exceptionally strong with a 17% OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) concentration while most brands are at 10%. This attractive heart shaped perfume case comes in black, purple and pink. No one would suspect that they are being sprayed with pepper spray from a perfume dispenser.

Disguised products no matter whether they are self-defense products such as pepper sprays or stun guns or hidden cameras that can be disguised as just about anything give the user an advantage that is otherwise unavailable which is why they are some of the most popular products sold for self-defense or to find out what’s going on when you can’t be there.
