They offer no protection against fire or burglary, but rather use a time old principle of keeping things simple. They are common objects that people are used to seeing around the home or office with hollowed out interiors to hold valuables such as cash, credit cards your jewelry. They obviously have limited storage space.

The whole principle behind a can safe is to keep things hidden long enough when a burglar is in your house to prevent him from finding it-that usually is no more than five or 10 minutes. That’s the average time that a burglar spends inside a house.
