Hollon fire resistant safe is 2-hour fire rated for 1850° external temperature. It is 100% more fireproof than average home safes on the market. The safe manages to maintain internal temperature at 350°F, even with fire blazing outside. The thick walls and door offer reinforced strength, while a grooved door seal blocks water from fireman's hose and water sprinklers. It opens via a dial lock and key, used together to unlock safe. The safe has a removable shelf and comes with two active round locking bolts and fixed hinge side bolts. An anchoring hole for wall (concrete) installation and included bolting hardware make it easy to set up.

Better than expected
Safe build quality and design are better than expected. I am happy very happy with the Hollon HS-530WD. I am very happy with the purchasing process and service provided by The Home Security Store - they made the process simple and transparent, and provided all the details I needed. They proactively reached out to me regarding the purchase, delivery options, etc. - very nice. The safe arrived on time and in perfect condition. Being an item of this size and weight, I was honestly expecting at least a few hick-ups, especially with some of the stories I read online about safe deliveries in general. But, the driver was great and on schedule, and the safe arrived in perfect condition without a scratch or even a smudge. I am very happy overall with the service, quality, and the delivery. This was my first purchase from The Home Security Store. I will definitely do more business with them in the future.
