There have been several dog attacks in my small area. One dog was killed and its owner knocked down with injuries. Last week a friend was seriously bitten on her arm while trying to protect her small dog while the large dog owner took his sweet time getting the large dog under control. Her husband found this product and I knew immediately that it would be excellent protection for this elderly woman and her small dog. It's so convenient. I can use it as a cane or lay it across the stroller for immediate access in case of an attack. The 7.5-inch stun gun part is at the end of the 3 ft. cane so I can keep a little distance between us and the attacking animal. I can use it without power, with just the light on, or with stun gun power switch on. To engage the stunning power, I must press a red button conveniently located on the handle. There will be no fumbling trying to find the button even for this 74-year-old woman. This is an excellent product that I have shown to many neighbors.
