Neighborhood Watch-Safety Tip Of The Week
For close to a year now we have been giving our readers a safety tip of the week. The majority of the tips have been on self defense, self defense products, home security, home security products and business security.
The safety tips have not been limited to those topics. We have given you tips on how to deal with scams we hear about, identity theft and much more. Most of the tips we will be giving you will cost you little or no money to implement. Can you say FREE?
The reason we are doing this is quite simple. We here at The Home Security SuperStore care about your personal safety and security and that of your loved ones.
This week’s tip is about the Neighborhood Watch Program which was established in 1972. In neighborhoods where it has been established homeowners experience less crime than their non-watch neighbors.
With one out of six homes annually a victim of home burglary the Neighborhood Watch Program brings a higher level of security to your neighborhood. It is a simple program that works.
As a block captain you learn much more than just about home security. Here they offer classes on many security related topics.
You can learn more about it by contacting your local Sheriff’s Department who runs and sets up the program or by visiting Neighborhood Watch Program. It is FREE and it works.
Feedback on these posts is welcomed. Have you ever been a victim of a home burglary? Please share your experience. We want to hear your thoughts.
