There are many home security tips for you that are inexpensive to implement.
Time, light and noise are the three biggest enemies of the home burglar. If you don’t believe me ask your police department or your favorite home burglar-he’ll tell you.
TIME-the more difficult that you can make it to get into your house, or in other words, the more time that the burglar has to spend getting into your house, the less likely that he will get in. He doesn’t want to get caught. And the longer he has to mess around breaking in, the more likely that someone will see him. So put up some obstacles in his way making it more difficult to get in.
LIGHT-burglars don’t want to be seen if they are doing their work at night. When you have some Motion Activated Spotlights for example, a light can shine on them when they move around. Chances are they’ll take off. Or if you have some lights on a timer inside your house, that gives the impression that someone’s home.
NOISE-if he have a burglar alarm in your house or Window/Door Alarms that go off when someone enters your door or window that maybe just enough to spook the burglar and get him to take off-exactly what you want.
So use this information to beef up your home security. It really doesn’t take much.
