Elder Abuse Caught On Hidden Camera

In April and May of 2011, a caregiver in a nursing home was caught mistreating a patient not once but twice. It was caught with a hidden camera that was placed inside an air purifier. Elder abuse is very common in nursing homes, unfortunately.

The story brings to attention the many and varied uses of hidden cameras and the value that they have. Catching elder abuse in a nursing home or home healthcare situation is just one use. Businesses use them to catch employees stealing. Homeowners use them to catch burglars breaking into their homes. Parents use them to catch babysitters or nannies mistreating their small children. Spouses use them to catch their partners cheating on them.
