Not as loud as you would think
Indoors, the alarm is pretty loud like if your smoke detector was going off right in your ear. However outside, I don't think anyone would turn their heads to see what the alarm was even if they could hear it. I bought this for my son to wear while walking home from school.

I ordered two, one for myself and one to sell to a client. I am in the Home Security business, and I would encourage anyone who is not ready to use a firearm to purchase one of these incredibly loud tchotchkes to put on their keychain. If an attacker should strike the sound alone is ear piercing. Weather it be for a human or animal attack this product will surely frighten them off
