Bought one for my grand daughter's 18th birthday and one for me. Sturdy and will definitely be something a foolish attacker wouldn't see coming. Case fits easily on a belt or in my tote bag.

Very well made product, flicked it out with not trouble after I put a drop of pb blaster on there. Tried it on my keys a little heavy for mine , but I have 200 things on it. If you had just that and your keys and a few small things it would work great on the keys. I used the clip and stuck it on my visor in the car. So if I had to get out quickly it's right there for an easy grab to run off into the sunset to defend my ladies honor. Jackie Chan anit got nothing one me an my keychain beat stick. It is well constructed with an O-ring at the tip of the end section to help the magnetic lock hold it in plsce. Heavy for it's size snd very sturdy, takes some prsctice whipping it out so it lock tight, do not just shake it out. The csse is nice but the loop glued on. Get rid of yhe clip do iy eon't interfere with your grip.

Nice to have with you, but at 12 inches you sre going to have to be skilled snd confident in your dkills to take down an attacker with such a short baton, no knee strikes or overhead swings with this. I am, and would lay it across the bridge of the attackers nose first strike. Don't stop till they drop, or hit once and run like hell.
