Pepper Spray Subdues Suspect

This is the story about a man who was a suspect in a crime of carjacking. When he was stopped by police he became extremely belligerent kicking and spitting at police officers-never a good idea! Officers had to use pepper spray to get him under control.

You can get the same kind of pepper spray that law enforcement officers use. It is called Fox Pepper Spray made by Fox labs. It is 5.3 million SHU’s-a common measurement of hotness of pepper spray. Most pepper sprays are in the 2 million range. One even claims to be 3 million SHU’s. The habanero pepper, generally considered to be the hottest you can get, is in the 200,000 SHU range.

This model fires a heavy stream up to as far away as 20 feet. It contains UV dye so when you spray an assailant police later identify him.
