"I like the jolt. I had my wife shock me on the arm and it made me a believer. It would be better concealed if it was 1in-1&1/2 inches smaller. Nice durable bright flashlight. My wife carries it everywhere. It has 3 steps to be active: 1)safety on/off, 2) shocker power switch on/off, and 3) the do it now/give'em hell button. I'm not sure how long it stays powered with safety off & shock power (red light) on. I would imagine several hours. Long enough to walk or bike ride to or from your car or home."
