I have never in my life ever left a review for any product or service I've received. This camera was super important to me, and $129.95 is a heck of a lot of money in my case. I bought the camera with the intention of recording my daughter's visits when her father comes. She is terrified of him and screams and cries and runs to hide whenever he comes over for his visit. Yet he wants to take me to court for custody. Anyway... Camera has a good quality picture. Everything was clear. Here is what's not stated, since no one else has left a review either. 1. The camera is zoomed in. I hung it in the far corner of the room hoping it would capture the entire room. Wrong! It captured the area immediately below the camera and extended to about a quarter of the side of the room where I hung it. 2. The "video" is not a "video". The system records in 3-minute increments. So for the baby's father's hour-long visit I have 16 3-minute videos. And 95% of them you can't even see him and you can't see what she is running from. 3. The time will not set. I recorded on 1/24/17 @ 5:30pm. The date on the videos is 1/22/17 @ 9:43pm. **Important note**: THERE IS NO SOUND IN THE VIDEOS. 4. For $130, the unit is super cheap. It doesn't even resemble a smoke detector. Toy smoke detectors are more convincing. I do have to say though that having the remote control is a huge plus!! 5. Buying the unit was super easy. I received a confirmation email with my order, and it also stated that I would receive another email with a tracking number for my shipment. I never did, but I was able to click on the FedEx link in the confirmation email and it was able to tell me when the product shipped. I ordered it Sunday and it shipped Monday, arriving in just a few days as promised.
