The rounds contain 2% PAVA formula that causes an instant burning sensation to the skin, eyes, and respiratory system. The SD pepper projectiles work with your TCP or LifeLite self-defense launchers that fire the rounds great distances to disperse a powerful pepper cloud that covers a 12-foot radius upon impact. This means you do not need to hit a would-be attacker directly, so you are protected from a safe distance.
