Level 3: (Medium) Protects from 40 S&W, .357 SIG, 9MM, .45 ACP, .38 Special, .357 MAG, .44 MAG, 7.62x39, 5.56x45 M193, and 7.62x51 M80 Ball. This is real protection, 5.56 is the most common rounds for the AR platform rifles with the 7.62 NATO being the most common round for the M14.

Level 3+: (High) Protects from 40 S&W, .357 SIG, 9MM, .45 ACP, .38 Special, .357 MAG, .44 MAG, 7.62x39, 5.56x45 M193, 7.62x51 M80 Ball, 5.56x45 M855 and .30-06 JSP for even higher level rifle protection.

Level 4: (Highest) Protects from 40 S&W, .357 SIG, 9MM, .45 ACP, .38 Special, .357 MAG, .44 MAG, 7.62x39, 5.56x45 M193, 7.62x51 M80 Ball, 5.56x45 M855 and .30-06 JSP and lastly armor-piercing rifle rated ammo up To .30-06 M2 AP. This is the top protection out there for bulletproof protection.
