Remote Surveillance for Business and Home Security

The answer to the question ‘who needs remote Internet surveillance’ could be-nearly everyone. If you own a home, a business, if you work and have children at home, if you have elderly parents, even if you own a vacation home somewhere the argument could be made that you need remote Internet surveillance to see what’s going on when you’re not there.

What is remote Internet surveillance? In short, it is the ability to see what your camera is seeing at a certain location from anywhere in the world where there’s an Internet connection-online streaming. This means, for example, that if you work and want to keep an eye on a babysitter at your house, you can do that with remote surveillance. If you have elderly parents at your home or their home and they have a caregiver and you want to monitor them you can do it with remote Internet surveillance.

If you own a business and need to take a vacation but want to be aware of what your employees are up to, remote Internet surveillance gives you that opportunity. If you own a vacation home and rent it out periodically and want to watch what is happening with it, remote Internet surveillance gives you that capability.

Basically what it involves is a camera set up at the location of your choosing and installing software on a computer. Then from a remote location anywhere you can get an Internet connection, you log in to the IP address of the camera. That’s about as difficult as it gets.

It literally gives you the opportunity to be in two places at the same time; to keep an eye on things at your home, vacation home, business or wherever when you can’t be there. After all, you can’t be everywhere at the same time but this capability comes about as close as you’re ever getting going to get that capability.

There are several products on the market today that can produce this capability. One in particular that comes to mind uses a computer powered wireless USB receiver that enables you to do online streaming over the Internet through your router and view on either a PC or smart phone. Another one uses an IP receiver so you can do live monitoring, record an event or playback via the Internet.

The appropriate software is included with both of these for streaming online.

So do you think you need remote Internet surveillance? The answer is if you need to see on what’s going on at another location halfway around the world or in the next block, the answer is yes.

The USB Fan Spy Camera gives you remote internet surveillance capability.

The Wi-Fi Air Purifier Camera allows to monitor, record or playback an event over the internet.
